The Jivita Dana Hopsital is founded under the patronage of Ven. Dhamma Piya, together with the generosity of the well-wishers from everywhere, based on their goodwill, loving-kindness and sympathy in order to give healthcare to all people, who are suffering from all kinds of illness, of any races, and religions, any sects, any status or any genders.
Objectives...
To have a chance of attending to our land Buddha,by treating all unhealty Buddhist monks,Novices,nuns and all other different people.
To have a chance of timely donation of the most encoretial thing to the people who are in need at the very time.
To make the world beautiful with loving-kindness, sympathy and sublime states of mind.
To achieve virtue of healthy, happy and long lives like Ven Ashin Vakula, who was absolutely free from any kind of illness, due to the donation of medicines and healthcare.
To build a society in which people can enjoy good health and will perform the good of the world in accordance with the teaching of their respective religions.
Starting from 12-1-2011, the Jivita Dana Hospital has been opened to all people on every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday and, so far 288, 131 general patients have been treated free of charge by the well-wishing doctors, nurses and pharmacist in the township.
Buddhist monks, novices and nuns are particularly given treatment without off days.
The emergency ambulance of the hospital came the patients to Mawlamyine free of charges twice a day, and about 720 emergency patients have been comted free of charges so far.
